So, we picked Abby up in front of a PetSmart in Lexington at 10 a.m.
from the nice rescue
people who had been watching her and her brothers, and then started
the trek home
with worries of crazy, incontinent puppy behavior, but she did
really well! Instantly bonded
with Emma, and made not one mistake (although we did stop many
times) the whole 5 hours
home! Good Dog! More pics from around the house in the
coming days, but just
wanted everyone to meet the new family member!

Yep, relaxed enough to sleep on the way home.

. . . but very aware of what's going on!

Abby spent a lot of time in Emma's lap. Emma's response:
"I've got you right where
you want me!"

A little front-seat time with B.A.

Hey, can I lick that?

Even some playing in the back seat on the way home.

The wind was blowing 90 miles an hour and it got colder as we got
north, so we got her a little
sweater to keep her warm . . . after 24 hours she hasn't torn it up
yet. (Ru pretty much did)

Contentment. Worth the effort, I think!
Three Months . . .

Hiding from us in a comforter . . .

. . . playing with a Christmas present!

After a hard day's running . . .

. . . you have to take a nap! (No, we didn't pose her!)

Emma and Abby are getting along famously!
Our thanks to Elaine and Ann and their families for making this all
possible, and for
doing the work they do. We're happy to be a part of it! back
